Note to install Fedora 32 to a laptop.
I like the way to install it from the USB bootable media.
Go to https://getfedora.org/en/, then check the way https://getfedora.org/en/workstation/download/.
Create the USB media
Referr this web site.
I used 4 GB USB memory. Inserted it. Then
$ sudo dnf install mediawriter $ sudo mediawriter
Then when writing the data, the media is create.
Install
Insert the USB media, and boot it.
Create partition. Remove existing partitions in the new laptop. Then
- /boot: 500 MB
- /: Remaining disk size except other partitions
- Swap: As my laptop memory is 16 GB, I used 8 GB for swap, seeing this web site. I encrypted with LUKS2. See this web site.
